A native of Atlanta, Dr. Tiffany E. Edwards attended Spelman College graduating cum laude. She, then, attended medical school at the Medical College of Georgia (MCG) in Augusta, GA where she also completed her residency training in Internal Medicine. Dr. Edwards participated in many research opportunities throughout the years, and designed a clinical trial as a postdoctoral fellow for her alma mater to determine the role of Cardiac MRI in Myocardial Sarcoidosis. She also worked to open the Small Animal imaging Lab at MCG’s Cancer Research center with Dr. Tom C-C Hu. After graduating from MCG June 2010, Dr. Edwards moved back to her hometown of Alpharetta to join the Internal Medicine Associates of Johns Creek where she has been working for the past 9 years.
Dr. Edwards volunteers in her community, as well as mentors young females and aspiring physicians, through her sorority- Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She serves as a board member for the Roswell Organization for Community Development and actively participates in her childhood church, Zion Missionary Baptist Church of Roswell, GA, with lead roles in the Health Ministry and her Congregational Care Group.
