Roberto Benedetto

Roberto began his career with TJX as a Lead with Marshalls in 1982. In his 38 years with Marshalls, Roberto has held multiple positions of increasing responsibility. Roberto progressed through the Store Management roles, and was promoted to a District Manager in 1999 in Atlanta. He was then promoted to AVP of Operations for Marshalls Zone 2 in 2009, Market District Manager in 2010 in the Mid Atlantic, then Regional Vice President in 2013. Roberto Benedetto, retired in February 2021 as Regional Vice President, Marshalls Southeast Region.

Roberto has made great contributions to MarMaxx throughout his career, including being part of the Best Methods Team, And Diversity Committee, helping open the Puerto Rico market, and driving significant sales growth for the 2 regions he led for Marshalls. Most of all though, Roberto is an exemplary role model of the TJX culture, and a great advocate for people. One thing he is most proud of is helping others see what’s possible for them in their careers, while sharing his own story, and continuing to care about them throughout their journeys.

Following his retirement, Roberto pays it forward with volunteer work in his community. He is married to his wife Maria, he has 2 sons Luis and Antonio, a 2 year old granddaughter Valentina, and identical twin grandsons.
