Tillie O’Neal is a visionary leader, master executive trainer, coach, and corporate consultant specializing in building high-performance teams and organizational development. She has worked extensively with leaders and corporate clients in the United States and abroad.

Currently Tillie is President of Paradigms 2 Excellence, dedicated to helping individuals and organizations actualize vision and achieve excellence by discovering and clarifying purpose. She has in recent years been a popular faculty member at the Berkeley’s Haas School of Business in its Executive Education Program, leveraging her preceding successful corporate career.
During her 36-year years at AT&T, Tillie’s tenure centered in the Engineering space and the AT&T School of Business. Tillie holds Master Certifications in Creating High Performance Teams, Executive Coaching, and Leadership from the AT&T School of Business and a BA in Business Administration from Golden Gate University, San Francisco, California.
Via her independent training consultancy, Learning Options, Tillie’s clients included IBM, AT&T, GE, Bell Labs, and Lucent Technology. Among her international clients was ESKOM Power and Light Company in South Africa, a microcosm of the desired transformation in that country. Tillie’s international work also included teaching the Active Communication Methodology to hundreds in Cape Town, South Africa, and Covey’s “7 Habits of Highly Effective People” to over 2,000 in Johannesburg, South Africa, as well as adult learners in Tanzania and England.
In addition to being a master trainer, Tillie is a sought-after and dynamic motivational speaker, social entrepreneur and humanitarian.
Tillie has received numerous awards for her community service and leadership. The not-for-profit organization she founded in 2004, Every Woman Works, Inc. (EWW) has lastingly impacted the lives of over 2,100 women and 5,000 children. EWW received local and national acclaim for its transformative contributions and is recognized as a premier provider of social services. Tillie and her good works have been profiled in national and local press, including The Wall Street Journal, The Kiplinger Personal Finance Journal, The Atlanta Journal Constitution and The Roswell Neighbor, as well as national and local television media.
Tillie’s contributions as a humanitarian have received prestigious recognition, including: Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award from President Barack Obama (2017), Martin Luther King Jr. Humanitarian of the Year (2017), Outstanding Citizen of the State of Georgia (2017), Trinity Non-Profit Awards Lifetime Achievement Award (2016), and the Art of Leadership Program Presence Award from the University of California, Berkeley (2012). Tillie is also an ENCORE Purpose Prize Fellow, recognized for “outstanding contributions towards solving the world’s most challenging problems in the second half of life,” and for the innovation, passion, creativity and fearlessness that propelled her to take action to make the world a better place.
